SNUG Conference Nov 2022

On 30 November 2022, the SNOMED CT Implementation Programme Team attended the Scottish National User’s Group (SNUG) conference at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld. This is an annual conference, and it was the first face to face gathering since 2019 and proved to be a hugely successful event. The conference hosted a variety of guest speakers and presentations on many current national and local GPIT developments; therefore, it was a pleasure for the team to be invited to the event to give the audience a presentation about Scotland’s journey on the road to transitioning to SNOMED CT and a snapshot into ‘what’s next’ for the programme. This was a great opportunity for the team to talk to conference delegates, vendors, exhibitors and to have some great discussions about many of the other key programmes of work going on in NHSScotland.
